<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the backlight attaching structure for a liquid crystal display device capable of installing the light emitting surface of a light source at an appropriate position so as to efficiently irradiate the light receiving part of a light transmission plate installed to a frame body with light from the light source and thinning the whole. <P>SOLUTION: In the backlight attaching structure for the liquid crystal display device 21 provided with the light transmission plate 28, the frame body 24 holding the light transmission body 28, the light source (LED 27) irradiating the light transmission body 28 and a circuit board 26 where the LED 27 is attached and composed by mounting the circuit board 26 on the frame body 24, the circuit board 26 is provided with a projection part 39 on the lower part of the disposed LED 27, an attaching groove 33 is opened on the bottom surface 22a of the frame body 24 on which the light transmission body 28 is mounted, and the projection part 39 is fitted and held in the attaching groove 33. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
