<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brake booster for a vehicle which improves vacuum (negative pressure) forming efficiency in a constant pressure chamber and stabilizes braking characteristics of the vehicle even if a driving state of the vehicle such as overload of an engine or the outside air pressure is changed. <P>SOLUTION: This brake booster is provided with a venturi pipe 218 at which a venturi part 218a is formed in the constant pressure chamber, the venturi pipe 218 is branched at its end from a vacuum supply pipe 216 in the constant pressure chamber, a first air inlet pipe is connected to the venturi part 218a for sucking air inside the constant pressure chamber, and the other end of the venturi pipe 218 is connected to a second air inlet pipe for sucking the outside air. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
