<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an authored work output method, which prevents singing time from becoming short since a desired music can easily be retrieved and the need for a time for retrieval is eliminated in singing in a style wherein authored work information used for karaoke wherein a video including lyrics is outputted together with a sound as an accompaniment and a user sings to an outputted sound over a look at the lyrics is sent from a recording device to an output device and the authored work information is outputted as a sound and a video from the output device, and to provide a communication system, a recording device, a computer program, and recording medium for the method. <P>SOLUTION: Desired author information retrieved from pieces of author information retrieved by accessing the recording device 10 by using a communication device 20 and sending a retrieval condition is previously selected and authentication information used for the selection is inputted to an output device 30; and then the output device 30 accesses the recording device 10 and obtains and outputs the selected author information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
