<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which a load for recovering a developer on a photoconductor or an intermediate transfer body, and to provide a computer program and a computer system for the same. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes an image carrier to form a latent image, a latent image forming means for forming the latent image on the image carrier, and a developer carrier for visualizing the latent image formed on the image carrier as a developer image with the developer. The image forming apparatus has an operation mode for making the developer carried on the developer carrier adhere to a non-image formation area on the image carrier. The latent image forming means forms a halftone image on the non-image formation area on the image carrier as the latent image, and makes the developer adhere to the non-image formation area on the image carrier. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
