<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive magnetic bearing device wherein handling of a magnetic bearing is facilitated by eliminating an emergency electric power source such as an accumulator, etc. serious breakage of the magnetic bearing such as deformation of a rotor, a contact of the rotor and a stator, etc., are prevented, and the number of parts is reduced. <P>SOLUTION: This magnetic bearing device has electromagnets 2b, 3b, 4b to float and support a rotation axis 6, displacement sensors 2a, 3a, 4a to detect a floating position of the rotation axis 6 and a controller 10 to regulate and supply an exciting current to the electromagnets 2b, 3b, 4b in accordance with output of the displacement sensors 2a, 3a, 4a. The device is also furnished with: a revolution detection means to detect revolution of the rotation axis 6; a support detection means to detect that the rotation axis 6 is supported by protection bearings 8, 9; an integrating means to integrate counting when the rotation axis 6 is supported by the protection bearings 8, 9 when it is rotated in a specified revolution range; and an alarm motion means to carry out specified alarm motion when the count number integrated by the integrating means exceeds a specified number. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
