PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-can two-circuit type water heater capable of preventing the overheat of a bath reheating circuit when solely using supply hot water, and capable of preventing water staying in the bath reheating circuit from becoming steam. SOLUTION: This one-can two-circuit type water heater has a bath return pipe for forming a heat exchanger for hot water supply and a heat exchanger for a bath on the same fin, heated by the same burner, connected to the heat exchanger for the bath, and returning water in a bathtub to the heat exchanger for the bath, and a bath going pipe for sending out the water heated by the heat exchanger for the bath to the bathtub. A temperature detecting means is arranged in the bath going pipe, and a burning quantity of the burner is adjusted by a detecting temperature of the temperature detecting means.
