PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lifting member having a new shape in a bag lifting apparatus with its lifting member lifting the entrance-side part of a bag set to be folded back toward the flap of a box. SOLUTION: L-shaped lifting members 2 are arranged corresponding to the corner parts 10b of a box 10. The lifting members 2 move upward along the corner parts of the box 10, entering between the folding-back parts 20a of the bag 20 and the flaps 10a of the box 10 from spaces 7a and pushing on the holding-back boundary parts 20b of the bag 20, while further moving upward to gradually lifting the folding-back parts 20a of the bag 20. Positively pushing on the holding-back boundary parts 20b corresponding to the corner parts 10b of the box 10 by the lifting member 2 enables the entrance-side parts 20c of the bag 20 to be smoothly lifted without being caught by the corner parts 10b of the box 10. A rectangular lifting member for lifting the entrance-side part of the bag similarly by pushing the holding-back boundary part more widely is also disclosed. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
