PAPER SHEET CARRYING MECHANISM FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC PRINTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an intense strike to a paper sheet by a paper guide lifted by release of torsion coil spring reaction when the traveling of the paper sheet stops, in a buffer mechanism part of a paper sheet carrying mechanism for an electrophotographic printer.

SOLUTION: This paper sheet carrying mechanism for an electrophotographic printer has: a printing/transferring mechanism part transferring an image formed by powder ink to the paper sheet; a fixing mechanism part melting and fixing the powder ink transferred on the paper sheet by a rotor having heat; and the swingable buffer mechanism part provided between the printing/transferring mechanism part and the fixing mechanism part, comprising the paper guide and an elastic force generation member absorbing tension or the slack of the paper sheet. The buffer mechanism part is provided with a swing suppression spring for suppressing swing acting in an opposite direction to the elastic force generation member for absorbing the tension or the slack of the paper sheet.
