PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dry-cleaning solvent which can be a substitute for a chlorofluorocarbon solvent and to provide a dry-cleaning method utilizing the same. SOLUTION: 2,3-Dihydrodecafluoropentane is used as a dry-cleaning solvent. Aqueous 3-methoxy-3-methyl-1-butanol in an amount of 20-60 v/v% is added to the solvent and mixed to form the drying-cleaning fluid. The dry-cleaning method comprises immersing clothing to be cleaned in the solvent, spraying the dry-cleaning fluid onto the clothing, and rotating and cleaning the clothing in the dry-cleaning fluid.
