PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat resistant member which drastically suppresses an oxidation deterioration, thermal deterioration, and carburization deterioration and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The heat resistant member having a film on a metallic substrate, in which the film is 1) a nickel - copper alloy film or 2) a nickel plating film and copper plating film and the method for manufacturing the same.
