PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a resin composition containing a lignin-based material which is a nonfossil resource as a main component, so as to be excellent in mechanical strengths and water resistance and environmental-friendly. SOLUTION: This resin composition contains (A) the lignin-based material, (B) a waterproofing component, and (C) a crosslinking component as essential ingredients, wherein the waterproofing component (B) comprises at least one kind of a rosin derivative and a terpene phenol resin, and the crosslinking component (C) comprises a compound having a functional group crosslinkable with the waterproofing component (B). The resin composition is crosslinked by using a crosslinking catalyst to easily give the resin having the required characteristics. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
