PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excellent solid powder cosmetic which shows an excellent impact resistance and prevents makeup from coming off, without generating cracks or gaps at its surface upon molding. SOLUTION: The solid powder cosmetic is molded by mixing a powder composition containing (a) 5-99.49 mass% fluorine compound-treated powder, (b) 0.01-10 mass% organically modified clay mineral and (c) 0.5-30 mass% oil with a volatile solvent, filling the mixture in a container or a medium-sized dish and removing the volatile solvent.
