The fastening device (1) has a welded element (4) which fits over a hole (3) in the component (2) to be fixed. The fastening device, in alignment with the welded element, has a recess (5) to accommodate a screw which fits over the hole after removal of the welded element. The recess in the alignment direction is closed on at least one side, and is closed off on one side by the welded element. The recess is provided with a thread to accommodate the screw. An Independent claim is included for a procedure for the disassembly and re-assembly of a component in which the welded element is removed so that the component is detachable from the fastening device, and for re-assembly a screw is fitted in the hole in the component and fixed in an internally threaded recess in the fastening device.
