The appliance (1) is to be mounted on support rail (2) and has on rear of its housing (10) fasteners for rail mounting, which contain two sliders (12), designed for lockign engagement with two spaced longitudinal edges (23,25) of rail. At least one slider is movable w.r.t. the other one for disengagement from rail. The slider can be biased by a spring force in first closed position, engaging the rail. The slider contains a swivel-lock mechanism, permitting its arresting, against spring force, in second, open position.
