<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To deploy an air bag in a protective bag device for a walker or the like as uniformly as possible, and reduce required heat resistance characteristics of the air bag. <P>SOLUTION: On a lower surface of the air bag 10, a gas generator containing chamber 15 is provided. In the gas generator containing chamber 15, most parts of a gas generator 30 are contained. A gas guide member 20 is provided to enclose a gas jet port 31 on the tip side of the gas generator 30. Discharge ports 26 and 27 of gas guide members 20 are disposed inside the air bag 10 upstream of a sewn part 16. An insert port 25 of the gas guide member 20 and an opening 17 of the air bag 10 are fixed and bound to the gas generator 30 by a band 32. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
