FIELD: refractory materials. SUBSTANCE: charge is composed of (in wt %): refractory filler fraction above 0.5 mm (zircon, mullite-corundum chamotte), 40-60; mixture of combined grinding of fraction below 0.09 mm containing 1-70 wt % of mullite- containing filler, 1-70 wt % zircon, and 20-30 wt % of refractory clay or kaolin, 40-60; and zirconium dioxide, the balance. SiO<SB>2</SB>/ZrO<SB>2</SB> ratio is maintained within the range from 0.7 to 0.25. Invention may find use in metallurgy, glass-making, chemical, and other industries.
