Night sight device for light weapon of innovative design, which consists of: Objective optics 1, a luminance intensifying element, and collimator optics, these three elements together forming a single optical unit 2. Accessory ocular optics 3. An electrical supply system composed of accumulators (storage batteries) and the electrical elements required for controlling the supply of energy to the luminance intensifying tube. And the mechanical elements required for handling it and for locating and fastening it 4 on the optical view finder (sight) of the weapon. The device provides improvements and original elements on other night sight devices, especially by facilitating its positioning on the corresponding weapon, through there being no need to align the night sight device with the weapon, the use of the same optical axis as the weapon's sighting (aiming) view finder, there being no need for specific instruction in aiming using the night sight device for a light weapon and the alternative use of the night sight device for a light weapon independently of the weapon, for observation and surveillance. <IMAGE>
