PURPOSE: A film forming apparatus of a control panel for a washing machine and a forming method of the control panel are provided to achieve a three-dimensional control panel with a simple and effective manner. CONSTITUTION: The forming method of a control panel for use in a washing machine comprises the steps of: (a) forming a transparent film with one selected from among poly(ethylene terephthalate), polycarbonate; (b) printing the remaining portion of the transparent film except for symbols or characters so as to be opaque; (c) inserting the printed film into a mold having a three dimensional cavity, thereby forming the transparent film to have a three dimensional shape while supplying hot wind to the film; (d) trimming the film; and (e) inserting the trimmed transparent film into an injection mold and injecting a resin, thereby forming a control panel with the transparent film.
