<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible thermal color developing composition and a reversible thermal recording medium, which have a high-speed erasing property and excellent storage stability of images, by using a novel carbamic ester compound as a color erasure accelerating agent and to provide a novel carbamic ester compound useful as a color erasure accelerating agent in the reversible thermal recording material and a process for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: This reversible thermal color developing composition includes an electron-donating color forming compound and an electron-accepting compound and can provide a relatively color developed state and a relatively color erased state by taking advantage of a heating temperature and/or a difference in a cooling rate after the heating, and is characterized in that the reversible thermal color developing composition contains, as a color development/erasure control agent, a novel carbamic ester compound derived from N,N',N"-tris(n- hexylisocyanate)cyanuric acid represented by formula (1) and a higher alcohol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
