COMPOSITE CARTRIDGE FOR THERMAL TRANSFER RECORDING MEDIUM, AND THERMAL TRANSFER PRINTER USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a printed matter having a superior quality of thermal transfer images with the labor saved and without dust, finger prints and the like adhered to thermal transfer recording media when the thermal transfer recording media of a thermal transfer sheet and a thermal transfer image receiving sheet are handled and set in a thermal transfer printer, and further to enable the miniaturization of a thermal transfer printer.

SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet of a pairing roll form obtained by bonding a wind end of a roll 4 where a long continuous thermal transfer sheet 2 is wound around a supply bobbin 3 to a take-up bobbin 5, and the roll- shaped thermal transfer image receiving sheet 8 wound around a supply bobbin 7 are stored together in a composite cartridge 1 for thermal transfer recording media. When the thermal transfer recording media of the thermal transfer sheet and thermal transfer image receiving sheet are to be set in the thermal transfer printer, both can be set at a time and the labor is saved because the cartridge which stores both thermal transfer recording media is used.
