METHOD FOR PRODUCING OLIGOSACCHARIDE CHAIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a variety of oligosaccharide chains useful e.g. as pharmaceuticals, medical treatment materials and research assisting materials in high efficiency by culturing a cell using a sugar chain primer under a condition suitable for the production of the oligosaccharide chains by the cell. SOLUTION: The method for the production of the oligosaccharide chain in high production efficiency comprises the addition of a sugar to a culture system containing cells and the sugar chain primer applied to the cells.
