PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine using game balls in which control load on a main control means is reduced. SOLUTION: A game can be started by setting the number of bets for one game by using the game balls, and one game is ended by deriving and displaying the display result of a variable display device 50 which can change a display state. Then a prescribed prize is won in response to the display result of the variable display device 50 in the slot machine 1 using the game balls. The machine 1 includes: the main control means 200 for controlling a game state; a first sub-control means 201 which is connected to the main control means 200 for data communication, and controls a rendition means; and a second sub-control means 400 which is connected to the main control means 200 for data communication, and performs control to take in the game balls to be used for setting the number of bets and to put out the game balls when the prize is won.
