<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reversible recording medium which can realize retouching/erasing with a writing implement and, even when the retouched medium is put on top of another medium, does not have a fear of the retouched material on the surface of the recording medium being transferred onto the backside of the another medium. <P>SOLUTION: In this repeatedly rewritable and displayable reversible recording medium, the contact angle of the backside of the reversible recording medium with distilled water is not less than 90 degrees, and the dynamic swept-back contact angle of the surface of the medium to distilled water is in the range of 75 to 100 degrees. Lubricants and fillers such as silicone-modified polymers are incorporated in the surface layer of the medium and/or the backside layer to control surface properties such as contact angle and carriability. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
