<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing feed for dairy cattle preventing the cattle from choice feeding, easy to retain its quality, and fully exerting the milk-secretive ability of the cattle, through markedly mitigating the burden of economy and labor on dairy farmers. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the feed for dairy cattle comprises mixing water into a plurality of TMR feed materials selected so as to include all of the nutrients necessary for the dairy cattle therein and then subjecting the mixture to lactic fermentation in a deaerated condition. In this method, the amount of the water mixed is set at a minimum enough to restrain the cattle's feeding choice and be capable of the lactic fermentation. The lactic fermentation is carried out so as to be 8-13 wt.% in the lactic acid content of the final feed on a dry basis. An edible mushroom bed is selected as one of the feed materials. At least one of vitamins A, D and E, macrominerals and microminerals is selected as a constituent of the feed materials. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
