PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biological optical measuring device holding diagnostically useful pieces of hemoglobin change information of various diseases as reference values and capable of easily diagnosing a disease or the like. SOLUTION: In the biological optical measuring device, a signal processing part is provided with a storing part storing features of hemoglobin change patterns of various diseases as reference templates, a feature extracting part extracting a feature of a hemoglobin change pattern from a hemoglobin signal measured by an optical measuring part, and a determining part comparing the extracted feature of the hemoglobin change pattern with the reference templates stored in the storing part and diagnosing a disease of a subject. A hemoglobin change pattern curve, latency, a maximum value, a maximum value reaching time, a variation differential value, a variation integral value or the like is used as the feature of the hemoglobin change pattern.
