PURPOSE: A valve operated by a rotating rod for an anti-lock brake system is provided to regulate hydraulic pressure of brake fluid accurately and conveniently by a driving motor and the rotating rod with simplifying the solenoid valve, and to brake efficiently according to the road condition by improving responsiveness. CONSTITUTION: A valve for an anti-lock brake system is composed of a modulator block(210); a first passage(201) formed in the modulator block and connected to a master cylinder; a second passage(202) formed in the modulator block, communicated with the first passage and connected to a pump; a third passage(203) formed in the modulator block, branched from first and second passages, and connected to a wheel cylinder; a rod(220) inserted to the modulator block and rotated by a driving motor to open and close the first and second passages; and a rod passage formed in the rod and communicated with the end and the circumference of the rod to open and shut first, second and third passages.
