<p>A bleach of formula: in which a is 1-4, x is 0 or 1, A is hydrogen, alkyl, halogen, alkoxy, aryl, alkylsulphonyl, alkoxyalkyl, polyethyleneoxy-, haloalkyl, alkanoyl, cyano, a polyhydroxyalkyl, X, Y and W are -O=S=O-, -CH2- or C = O, Z is (where b is 1-4; B is as A above or -SO2OM, M being hydrogen or alkali metal, or R and R1 being hydrogen, alkyl, hydroxy alkyl, aryl and/or glycosyl or may form a ring (A being as above, p being 1 or 2). The bleaches are suitable for use in detergents.</p> |
