FIELD: agriculture, horse selection. SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with detecting genetic blood parameters, where one should apply polymorphic proteins, blood enzymes and heterozygosity degree as genetic parameters. The present method enables to select horses resistant to pasture ticks and tick-associated diseases. Resistant are horses-carriers of serumal arylesterase HB phenotype at heterozygosity level being 45-100% and absence of transferrin FF phenotype.
