<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To print an image to be printed by easily adding a frame without hurting part of the image. <P>SOLUTION: The printer driver 110 of a computer 10 receives from a user the designation of a frame to be added to an image. At the time of designating the frame, sides out of four sides to which the frame is added, the width of the frame, and the type of the frame can be set. In print, an area where an image is printed is set from the print area of a paper sheet and an area to which the frame is added, and image data are worked according to the areas.
