PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method, a device and a program for generating parameters, which can determine a parameter point in the parameter definition range of a curved face including a periodic parameter curved line. SOLUTION: In the method for generating parameters to determine a parameter for a free curved face in relation to a point in three dimensional space, the parameter point is determined by detecting the periodic parameter curved line after detecting a degenerative parameter curve and then calculating a parameter point in relation to the point to be determined and normalizing the parameter for which the periodic parameter curve line is used.
