<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To protect data without losing the index information of a hybrid disk. <P>SOLUTION: A writing is performed so as to reach a total of 98 sessions by adding a dummy session apart from a content to be originally recorded in a read only region 1 when shipping the hybrid disk. When the hybrid disk is shipped in this state, a writing session by a user resides in the 99th session located in the write once region 2, and single writing becomes impossible hereafter.
