PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detach an option unit from a display body correspondingly to change of the attitude of a display apparatus. SOLUTION: The display apparatus is configured with the display body (1) having a rectangular display screen on which a video image is displayed, the option unit (2) for containing speaker bodies in pairs with the display body at prescribed intervals, and fixing mechanism for detachably fixing the option unit to the display body, and the fixing mechanism is configured with an engagement hole (20) provided to either of the display body and the option unit and an engagement member (22) provided to the other and inserted to the engagement hole, and either the plurality of engagement holes or the plurality of engagement members are provided to one side and the other side of the rectangle which the display screen of the display body forms at equal intervals.
