PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain the setting change related to the write strategy without outputting an unsuitable signal even in the process of recording operation of an optical disk. SOLUTION: This circuit is provided with a register 1 for temporary preservation at a prestage in addition to a register 2 for read-out. That is, the registers for setting the strategy correcting amount are constituted in two stages. Even though a set value at the prestage is latched to the register, the set value is stored in the register 1 for temporary preservation and read out all together with the register 2 for read-out by a latch signal B to reflect it on an internal circuit at a poststage.
