C6-22 Fatty acid methyl esters based on coconut fatty acids, palm kernel fatty acids, palm oil fatty acids or mixtures thereof optionally with additives and emulsifiers are used as smoothers in lubricants in the production of combed wool slivers which are further processed in worsted wool yarn.
