<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for efficiently presenting much file information even on a small display screen and a technique for efficiently displaying folder contents on the same hierarchy or in the neighborhood. <P>SOLUTION: A priority for a display time is given to files within the folder according to information on an update date and time or the kinds of the files. The display files are divided into a plurality of display group units in the priority order to perform a determination. By setting a display attribute such as a transmissivity degree of an icon and a display form around the icon or an operation form of the icon for every group, file information having high priority can be visually discriminated, while presenting more file information. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p> |
