PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for fabricating a tension mask and a frame assembly are provided to prevent the deformation of the frame by using the tensile force applied to the tension mask. CONSTITUTION: A predetermined external force is applied to a tension mask(50) or a frame(40). The predetermined external force is applied to the tension mask(50) or the frame(40) in order to form an equilibrium state of the tension mask(50) or the frame(40). The tension mask(50) is welded on the frame(40). The predetermined external force for maintaining the equilibrium state is removed from the tension mask(50) or the frame(40) and the tensile force is applied to the tension mask(50) by the frame(40). The predetermined external force is the tensile force applied to the tension mask(50) or the compression force applied to the frame(40).
