PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image output system with high quality for performing a defect reproduction test in a short time at a low cost and performing various detailed variation tests and a critical test in a short time at a low cost so as to sufficiently assure operations of components and to provide an operation reproduction method for the image output system.

SOLUTION: A digital photo printer 10 is provided with: a log data collection section 106 for collecting parameter setting information indicative of contents of a parameter set to a scanner 20, an image processing apparatus 40 and an output printer 60 and operation history information representative of an operation history produced between them and in each of them as log data; a memory 108 for storing the collected log data; and signal generating section 110 for calling the log data stored in the memory 109 and generating a control signal to drive at least either of them on the basis of the called log data.
