<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Sm-Fe-N magnetic anisotropic bonded magnet which is formed of fine powder 0.5 to 5 μm in average grain diameter, improved in magnetic properties, and increased in magnetic powder rate, and to provide its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: Sm-Fe-N magnetic powder displaying magnetic anisotropy and resin are mixed together into a compound. The compound is kept, oriented and compressed inside a mold kept at a normal temperature into a molded body. The molded body is heated up to a temperature of 323 K or above but below the curing temperature of the above thermosetting resin, and then subjected to a densifying process. Thereafter, the molded body is heated up to the thermosetting temperature of the thermosetting resin or above so as to be hardened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
