PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin sorting device capable of allowing a coin conveyed by a conveying mechanism after the coin conveying direction is changed from a first coin conveying passage to a second coin conveying passage, to be surely moved along a standard face of a sorting hole formed on a position opposite to an extension line from a downstream side end part in the coin conveying direction of a conveying direction changing face in parallel with the second coin conveying passage, without mounting a special mechanism. SOLUTION: A clearance D between the coin standard face 10b and the extension line from the coin conveying direction downstream side end part P of the conveying direction changing face 51a is determined to be smaller than a diameter of the smallest coin C among the handled coins C. Whereby the coin C conveyed by the conveying mechanism can be surely moved along the coin standard face 10b positioned at a side opposite to the coin conveying direction downstream side end part P of the conveying direction changing face 51a through the second coin conveying passage 9b, for obtaining the conveying standard in the sorting part 11 of the coin C conveyed by the conveying mechanism, without mounting the special mechanism.
