METHOD FOR SEPARATING AND PURIFYING CATHEPSIN B INHIBITOR DERIVATIVE

PURPOSE: A method for separating and purifying Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative is provided, thereby easily separating and purifying Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative. CONSTITUTION: A method for separating and purifying Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative CBI-55 comprises the steps of: regulating pH of the Streptomyces sp. CBI-55(KCTC SD1009) cultured medium to isoelectric point to change Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative to uncharged Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative; passing the uncharged Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative through the strong basic ion exchange resin column and strong acidic ion exchange resin column, sequentially, or reversely to adsorb negative(-) charged material and positive(+) charged material to the resins; and separating and purifying the uncharged Cathepsin B inhibitor derivative passed through the ion exchange resin column.
