摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a steering apparatus for vehicle capable of achieving detection of an absolute angle of a steering shaft with a simple structure while preventing an increase in power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This steering apparatus is provided with a pair of resolver sensors 60 AND 62 each outputting a signal corresponding to a rotation angular position of the steering shaft 24 of the vehicle, and a lock mechanism 70 for restricting rotation of the steering shaft 24 by inserting a lock bar 72 into lock holes 76 and 78 formed around an input shaft 34 of the steering shaft 24 at equal intervals. When it is assumed that axial multiplication angles of output signals of the first and second resolver sensors 60 and 62 are n×and m×(in this case, m>n), respectively and the number of the lock holes 76 and 78 around the input shaft 34 is N, the axial multiplication angles n×and m×, and the number N of the lock holes 76 and 78 are set so as to satisfy a relationship represented by (m-n)≤N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO</p>
