<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recorder, a reproducing device or the like which can synchronize with audio data reproduction to record and reproduce MIDI (musical instruments digital interface) data even when an audio data reproducing device provided with no timecode output function is used. <P>SOLUTION: A MIDI data recording and reproducing device MR detects a peak of an audio signal supplied from the audio data reproducing device AR and records an event for time management corresponding to the detected peak as well as a MIDI event, etc., on an FD. In synchronizing with audio data reproduction by the audio data reproducing device AR to reproduce the MIDI data, the MIDI recording and reproducing device MR adjusts timing of reading the MIDI event, etc., in accordance with the deviation between timing when the peak of the audio signal is detected and timing when the event for time management is read. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
