PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly take stored food in and out while securing the large effective internal volume of a changeover chamber in a refrigerator provided with a blower in a top part of the changeover chamber. SOLUTION: A blower 14 for agitating air in the changeover chamber 8 to thaw frozen food is provided in a nonprojecting state in the top part 13 of the changeover chamber 8. Consequently, the blower 14 neither reduces the effective internal volume of the changeover chamber 8 nor impedes taking the stored food in and out. COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
