PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a feeder allowing operation of a belt-fed type machine gun in a more stable state. SOLUTION: The feeder includes a connecting unit 30 connected to the belt- fed type machine gun 100 and provided with a speed sensor 36 for detecting a take-in speed of a bullet train 80 by the belt-fed type machine gun 100 and a sprocket unit 34 driven by a motor 35 for sending out the bullet train 80, and a controller 50 carrying out control with respect to the motor 35 for sending out the bullet train 80 by the sprocket unit 34 at the same speed as the take-in speed detected by the speed sensor 36.
