<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus where a photoreceptor is uniformly electrified without allowing toner, carrier and a foreign matter or the like to adhere to an electrode and the occurrence of a white stripe is prevented. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus is provided with the photoreceptor, an electrifying means, an exposure means, a developing means for developing a latent image with developer carried on a developer carrier, a transfer means for transferring the toner image developed with the developer to paper, and a fixing means for thermally fixing the transferred toner image. The apparatus is equipped with an electrification unit constituted of the electrode of the electrifying means, a plate member provided on a back surface and a side surface covering over the electrode and having a ventilating port and a dust-proof filter member disposed at the position of the ventilating port, and capable of being drawn out, and a duct member functioning also as a draw-out guide of the electrification unit and feeding air from the ventilating port to an electrode side in the plate member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
