<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an imaging apparatus in which a user can confirm the print set contents by printing them on a desired number of sheets. <P>SOLUTION: Contents (number of sheets of test print, contents of image processing, and the like) set at a test print setting section 121 are transferred to a test print control section 115 for controlling test print according to the contents of test print. In this regard, an image control section 113 performs image processing required for test print. Upon ending test print of a specified number of sheets, printing is interrupted.
