<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming module and an image forming apparatus which ensure highly accurate alignment of images of individual colors in a system in which images of the individual colors are transferred to a transfer medium one on another. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus has an image forming module main body 8 having at least one photoreceptor drum 1. The image forming module has a nonvolatile memory which stores information on mechanical variations and accuracy caused in the process of its production or assembly and allows read from the main body of the image forming apparatus to which the module is attached and write into the nonvolatile memory. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
