Fixed (2) and sash (3) frames are made up of hollow plastics profiles (5,6) enclosing glassfiber reinforced plastics stiffener profiles (8,11) in associated chambers (7,10). Bolt fittings are fixed to both frames for the tipped and closed window settings and some of the fittings are held in by screws run into stiffener profile (8). This profile (8) is dimensioned in the screw-in area of the fixer screw specified as to require a force of 1500-3600 N to remove the screw. In the screw area the profile (8) should be at least 4 mm thick and profile (11) in the other hollow profile (6) comes in U shape with legs (12) of identical thickness or differing at most 2 mm in terms of legs 8-12 mm thick. |
