<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a music having an atmosphere similar to that of a specified music. <P>SOLUTION: The music retrieving device is consisted of a music data storing means for storing multiple pieces of music data including the lyric data of the music, a word extracting means for extracting a prescribed word by dividing the lyric data into word units, a weighting factor calculating means for calculating the weighting factor indicating the frequency in the use of the word extracted by the word extracting means in each of the music, and a score calculating means for calculating the coordinate value for arranging each of the music in an information space using the weighting factor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
