PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedpan installed in a room for nursing care. SOLUTION: In a bedpan installed in a room for nursing care comprising a bowl, crushing and pressure feed portion, and a switchover portion for communication and non-communication between the bowl and the crushing and pressure feed portion, the bowl is equipped with a water supply nozzle above the surface of the bowl, and water supply from the water supply nozzle has two patterns of the supply of initial accumulation water and washing of the bowl surface. In this way, the initial accumulated water is supplied before excretion, and after the excretion, the diffusion of odor to the room can be restricted since excreta is sunk in the accumulated water.
